About Me

I am a HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist with over a decade of experience supporting adults through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. My training and clinical work have spanned NHS services, private practice and specialist settings to include eating disorder services and services supporting bariatric care. My experience and training have given me a deep understanding of the importance of timely and effective mental health treatment, and how transformative this can be for people to help them overcome obstacles and start to live life the way they want to.

My approach is integrative and individual to your needs and difficulties. I draw from evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Re-processing (EMDR), Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT) and person-centred counselling to help me tailor therapy to your unique needs, whether you’re seeking to overcome trauma, manage anxiety, improve relationships or better understand yourself.

My therapeutic philosophy and values
I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to talk, reflect and grow. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and that the basis of change starts within the relationship between the client and their therapist.
We all have physical health and we all too have mental health – both need to be acknowledged and supported. Whether you are dealing with emotional distress, relational difficulties or unresolved issues from the past, therapy can help you gain clarity, build resilience and move forward with confidence.
